Jerry P. Chandler, 78, of Waterford, died August 21, 2021, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church and a truck driver.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on Aug. 24 at Spring Hill Baptist Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Gladys Chandler; two sons, Greg Chandler (Lenell) of Mason, Tenn., Phillip Chandler Jr. (Ashley) of Byhalia; three daughters, Cindy Heidelberg (Charles) of Milan, Tenn., Melissa Rushing of Brighton, Tenn., Christi Cook (John) of Greer, S.C.; brother, Kenny Chandler (Judy) of Knoxville, Tenn.; four sisters, Shirley Bailey (Glen), Carolyn Hendrix, Kathy Colston (Danny), Peggy Lea, all of Brownsville, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
