Proud of Byhalia's own, Erica Bougard

She represented the USA in the women's heptathlon.The sign was sponsored by Byhalia Area Chamber Main Street, the Byhalia Lions Club and the Byhalia High School PTO. A parade for Bougard, a 2011 graduate of Byhalia High School, will be held Saturday, Aug. 28, at 6 p.m. with line-up starting at 4 p.m. at the intersection of Hwy. 178 and Church Street. The parade route will go down Church Street, turn left going past Reed's Market, turn left on 178, turn right on Hwy. 309 and go to Byhalia High School where Mayor Bill Dawson will present Bougard with a key to the city. Line-up will be assigned at the participant's arrival at the starting point. More information is available at terireag@gmail.com.
