James Gurley

James Gurley, 87, of Potts Camp, died July 19, 2021. He was a Baptist, a U.S. Navy veteran, machinist and farmer.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on July 21 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Chewalla Primitive Cemetery in Potts Camp.

He leaves a son, Billy Gurley (Debbie) of Potts Camp; a daughter, Beth Overall of Potts Camp; six grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathleen Eason; brother, William W. Gurley; and son-in-law, Rex Overall.
