Bruce Feathers

Bruce Feathers, 58, of Tiplersville, died June 6, 2021, at Magnolia Regional Hospital in Corinth. He was a Baptist, served in the National Guard and was a truck driver prior to becoming disabled.

Services were held at 3 p.m. on June 9 at Clear Creek Baptist Church in Lamar. Rev. Greg Skelton and Rev. Tim Barber officiated. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar were in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his longtime companion, Vergie "Kittman" Glass; five daughters, April Brooks (Chris) of Ashland, Amanda Barber (Joel) of Lamar, Michelle Arnold (Jerry) of Tipton County, Tenn., April Cornelius (Guy) of Hornlake, Brittany Glass (Quinton) of Memphis, Tenn.; a son, Kelton Russell of Barton; two sisters, Tammy Breedlove (Jeff) of Lamar, Lannie Yeager (Buck) of Ashland; and 13 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Brodie and Nellie Feathers; a brother, Gordon William Feathers; a son-in-law, Timothy "T.J." Barber; and three grandchildren.
