Jessie Fean Anderson Balfour

Jessie Fean Anderson Balfour, 62, of Holly Springs, died May 21, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Collierville in Collierville, Tenn. She was a member of Rising Star MB Church in Holly Springs where she served as a church usher, church missionary and on the kitchen committee. She was a nurse at Graceland Nursing Home in Memphis,Tenn.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 28 from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and at Rising Star MB Church from 4-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on May 29 at Rising Star MB Church Cemetery. Pastor Robert McClain will officiate.

She leaves her husband, Frank Balfour; four children, Fallon Balfour of Horn Lake, Gayland Balfour, Christina Balfour, both of Holly Springs, Jessica Balfour of Maumelle, Ark.; nine sisters, Carvella Collins, Robbie Jean Collins, Addean Cannon, Mattie Parker, Hazel Jefferson, Gertie B. Clayton, Tessie Lee Anderson, Kathlean Anderson, Gale Anderson-Hughes, all of Holly Springs.; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by six brothers, Estell Anderson, Carl Anderson, John Anderson, Howard Anderson, Ralph Anderson, Willie Lee Anderson Jr.; and one sister, Verlean Smith.
