Georgia Sellers Jones

Georgia Sellers Jones, 93, of Lamar, died May 4, 2021, at her home. She was a member of Hebron MB Church in Michigan City and was retired from the Benton County School system.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on May 7 at Hebron MB Church Cemetery. Bishop L.T. Mason officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves two sons, Felom Jones (Shelia), Michael Jones (Cassandra), both of Ashland; four daughters, Annie Jackson of Somerville, Tenn., Clara Beard (James) of Holly Springs, Doris Hampton (Jimmy) of Ashland, Mary Jones of Ashland; a sister, Marie Terry of Lamar; 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 23 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Jones; a daughter, Deloise Hampton; and son, Curtis Terry.
