Jimmy Leslie Trusty

Jimmy Leslie Trusty, 77, died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, in Olive Branch, on March 16, 2021. The family received friends on Friday, March 19, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch. A funeral service followed at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Coleman Funeral Home. Interment was at Blocker Cemetery. Brother Marvin Tharnish, Pastor of Brookside Baptist Church, officiated.

Mr. Trusty was a successful business man as the co-owner of Trusty's Texaco in Memphis, TN. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He loved his property full of farm animals, which kept him busy. He was a Christian man who served his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ with his church family. He enjoyed early mornings sharing stories with his coffee buddies.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Joe (Barbara) Trusty of Olive Branch; daughter, Windy Sullivan of Olive Branch; sister, Patty Tatum of Olive Branch, Frank (Lena) Trusty of Olive Branch, granddaughter, Emily Calhoun of Olive Branch, grandson, Cody Fairchild of Hernando, MS, granddaughter, JoBeth (John) Gurgenc of Olive Branch, grandson, Wade Sullivan of Olive Branch, nine greatgrandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doris and Raymond Trusty; brother, Johnny Trusty and Harold Trusty.
