Markavion LaRenz Hasberry

Markavion LaRenz Hasberry, 8, of Holly Springs, died Mar. 7, 2021, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was a member of Yarbrough Chapel CME Church, and attended both Yarbrough Chapel and Mt. Peel MB Church in Holly Springs. He was a second grade student at Galena Elementary School.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Mar. 19 from 4-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Mar. 20 at Yarbrough Chapel CME Church Cemetery. Rev. Rondias Cox will officiate.

He leaves his mother, Darlene Gipson of Holly Springs; father, Marquez Hasberry of Holly Springs; stepfather, Jimmy Hope of Byhalia; four brothers, Torrez Jones Jr., Danarius Gipson, Marquez Hasberry Jr., all of Holly Springs, Emarion Hill of Memphis, Tenn.; two stepbrothers, Prince Hope, Jeremaih Vaughn, both of Byhalia; grandmothers, Ollie Mae Gipson of Holly Springs, Wendy Beecher of Memphis; and godfather, Michael J. Lay of Holly Springs.
