Dexter Lee Marvin Evans

Dexter Lee Marvin Evans, 45, of Ripley, died Feb. 6, 2021, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of Palestine MB Church in Michigan City where he was a deacon, choir member, usher, treasurer and kitchen committee member. He was a retired supervisor for Master-Bilt in New Albany.

Visitation will be held at Palestine MB Church on Feb. 14 from 11-11:55 a.m. with graveside services at 12 p.m. in the church cemetery. Rev. Alfred Watts will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Christy Evans; Godchild, Kylen Clark of Ripley; mother, Doris Jean Hoyle Evans of Ashland; three sisters, Lorraine Reliford of Ashland, Mary Freeman of New Albany, Patricia Evans of Ashland; three brothers, Michael Gibson of Collierville, Tenn., John Evans, Olando Evans, both of Ashland.
