James Arthew Peterson Sr.

James Arthew Peterson Sr., 65, of Ashland, died Jan. 28, 2021, at Alliance Healthcare System in Holly Springs. He was a member of Greenwood MB Church in Lamar and a retired construction worker.

A memorial service is planned for a later date. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, LaKisha Katina Dean Peterson of Collierville, Tenn.; son, James Arthew Peterson Jr. of Ripley; two daughters, Jessica Clarissa Peterson of Holly Springs, Jamela Katina Peterson of Ashland; stepdaughter, Queen Easter Ollie of Kansas City, Kansas; stepson, Ronald Hunt Dean of Jackson; five sisters, Margie Jones, Ellen McKinnie, Hazel Peterson, all of Holly Springs, Mattie Smith of Michigan City, Mary Lyons of Ashland; and four grandchildren.
