Don Frank Cothern

Don Frank Cothern, 61, passed away on Jan. 23, 2021, at Baptist DeSoto Hospital. Don was born May 19, 1959, to Albert Floyd Cothern and Sallie Wilson Cothern in Memphis, TN. Don was a longtime employee of Wurlitzer in Holly Springs before beginning his law enforcement career in 1988 as a dispatcher. He later became deputy sheriff, then went on to become elected Marshall County Constable in 1996, where he faithfully served for 20 years.

Visitation will be held at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel on Jan. 27 from 5-9 p.m. and services at 11 a.m. on Jan. 28. Burial will be in Hill Crest Cemetery.

Don is survived by his wife, Alicia Cothern of Red Banks; two daughters, Danielle Cothern and Donna Young, both of Holly Springs; two sons, Tim Cothern of Holly Springs and Jackie Creasie of Ashland; and 6 precious grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Floyd and Sallie Cothern; brother, Anthony Cothern; and son, Jonathan Daniel Cothern.
