Clarence Hudson

Clarence Hudson, 86, of Michigan City, died Dec. 28, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-New Albany. He was a member of Jones Grove MB Church in Holly Springs.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 3, 2021, at New Life Christian Center Cemetery in Ashland. Rev. John Powell officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves nine sons, Charles Hudson, David Hudson (Geraldine), Terry Hudson, Mark Hudson (Sarah), Eddie Hudson (Amber), Robert Hudson, Tim Hudson (Mary), Tony Hudson (Ashley), Mario Hampton, all of Ashland; four daughters, Shelia Bullock (John) of Ashland, Sandra Richard (Benny) of Memphis, Tenn., Joyce Barton (Bobby), Yalinda Hampton, both of Ashland; two brothers, Eddie B. Hudson of Memphis, Walter Hudson (Fannie) of Ashland; four sisters, Mattie Patterson of Michigan City, Magnolia Maggie Allen of Lamar, Hattie Strickland of Ashland, Lillie Williams of Michigan City; godson, Dedrick Paige; 37 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by two brothers, Jack Hudson, Charlie Hudson, both of Ashland; three sisters, Lucy Smith, Katie Smith, and Broxie Smith, all of Ashland.
