Clarence Edward Woods

Clarence Edward Woods, 65, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 9, 2020, at his home. He was a member of Hopewell No. 1 MB Church and was a member of the Stars of Faith gospel music group.

Graveside services were held on Dec. 19 at St. Paul CME Church. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves two daughters, Latasia King, Teresa Davis, both of Holly Springs; two sons, Anthony Hughes of Southaven, Michael Hughes (Felicia) of Holly Springs; one stepdaughter, Joice Pegues (Fred) of Memphis, Tenn.; three sisters, Doris Reed, Carol Rooks, Sandra Woods, all of Holly Springs; two brothers, Herman Woods (Jeanette), Albert Woods (Angelea), both of Holly Springs; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by four sisters, Dorthy Walton, Sarah Woods, Shirley Cathey, Margaret Woods; and one brother, Eddie Woods.
