Felix Young, 71, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 21, 2020, at New Albany Health and Rehab. He was a farmer and a horse trainer.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 28 at Pinson Family Cemetery in Holly Springs. Rev. Willie Hoey officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves four children, LaTashia Laney of Lamar, Catrice Payne of Holly Springs, Felix Shumpert of Tupelo, Carlos Young of Holly Springs; eight sisters, Glenda Royston, Shirley Wieland, Lisa Young, Rene Young, Ada Young, Vicky Young, Wendy Luckett, Debbie Watson, all of Milwaukee, Wisc.; one brother, Jerry Young of Holly Springs; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by a sister, Helen Roddy.
