Carol Jean Faulkner Whaley

Carol Jean Faulkner Whaley, 61, of Potts Camp, died Dec. 13, 2020, at her home. She was a member of New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries in Holly Springs where she was an evangelist and church secretary. She was an assistant manager at Goody's Department Store.

Visitation will be held at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries on Dec. 18 from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 18 at Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. Pastor Actavitis Allen will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Sammie Charles Whaley of Potts Camp; a son, Woody Faulkner of Holly Springs; seven sisters, Celestine James, Linda Faulkner, Madie Faulkner, Patricia Faulkner, all of Holly Springs, Helen Wilkins of Olive Branch, Margaret Faulkner of Cordova, Tenn.; two brothers, Eddie Moton of Oxford, Terry Moton of Olive Branch; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jarvis Faulkner; three brothers, Gary Faulkner, Eddie Faulkner Jr. and Willie "Joe" Faulkner.
