Katie Gipson Ross, 77, of Holly Springs, died Nov. 12, 2020, at Alliance HealthCare System in Holly Springs. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Holly Springs and a retired inspector at Carrier Corp. in Collierville, Tenn.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18 at Hudsonville CME Church Cemetery. Father Gregory M. Schill, SCJ officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a son, Eric Ross of Holly Springs; four sisters, Gracie Stella Gipson-Smith of Holly Springs, Hazel Lee Wiley of Omaha, Neb., Betty Jean Campbell of Pittsburg, Miss.; Jannie Gipson of Dallas, Tex.; two brothers, Lee Lloyd Gipson, Alvin Gipson, both of Memphis, Tenn.; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Rayford Gipson.
