Alta "Bernice" Hanna, 89, of Mt. Pleasant, died Oct. 26, 2020, at Ashland Health and Rehabilitation. The widow of Charles Robert Hanna, she was a homemaker.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 2 at Wyatt Cemetery in Hornsby, Tenn. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves a son, Robert "Bubba" Hanna (Sherry) of Papillon, Neb.; three daughters, Mary Jo Richardson (Terry) of Mt. Pleasant, Linda Morrow of Memphis, Tenn., Charlene Gaines (Bobby) of Byhalia; a brother, James Wilson of Gissell, Tenn.; five sisters, Joann Carlin, Norine Waldrop, Luella Stuart, Sue Flowers, Diann Richardson, all of Selmer, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by Carol "Jeannie" Hanna.
