Carnell J. Byrd, 88, of Lamar, died Oct. 24, 2020. The widower of Marjorie McClure Byrd, he was a lineman with Holly Springs Utility Department.
Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Oct. 26 at Hill Crest Cemetery in Holly Springs. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves two sons, Richard Byrd (Clarice) of Biloxi, Darren Byrd of Lamar; a daughter, Lisa Loupe (Roger) of Selmer, Tenn.; a sister, Katie Roberson of Ashland; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
