LETTER TO THE EDITOR:

Thank you: Special thanks to the Holly Springs Fire

Department, Holly Springs Police Department, family and friends, but most of all and especially to the ICS Mary Cathey Head Start staff in Oxford for making my day special.

It was a day I will cherish forever, a day I will never forget.

I was honored with a pass-me-by parade, sirens sounding, cars with banners, horns honking, balloons, gifts, flowers, confetti; it was amazing.

On Tuesday, May 12, I retired after 35 years of service with ICS Head Start. The last 10 years were spent with the best staff ever, the ladies and gentlemen at Mary Cathey Head Start. You will always have a place in my heart.
