Maggie Lee Hardin Shipp

Maggie Lee Hardin Shipp, 76, of Byhalia, died April 4, 2020, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tenn. The widow of Wilbert Shipp Jr., she was a member of Union Valley MB Church in Byhalia. She was a former cashier for a convenience store.

Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on April 9 at Union Valley MB Church Cemetery. Rev. Joe Richmond will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves three daughters, Sandra Sholar of Byhalia, Phyllis Miller and Stephanie Shipp, both of Davenport, Iowa; three sons, Paul Shipp and Kenneth Shipp, both of Byhalia, Marvin Shipp of Chicago, Ill.; five sisters, Lillian Wheeler and Vinella Harper, both of Byhalia, Annie Dean and Annie Mae Tunstall, both of Memphis, Assie Sims of Olive Branch; 16 grandchildren, and 31 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister and three brothers, Ethella Drain, Jerry Hardin, Robert Lee Hardin, and John Hardin Jr.
