Betty Lee Brown

Betty Lee Brown, 82, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 20, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. The widow of Eddie Brown, she attended Rosenwald High School and Mississippi Industrial College. She was a member of the Church of Christ and retired from the U.S. Postal Service and Social Security Administration.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 28 at Hernando Road Church of Christ. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves five siblings, Grover Lawrence, Annie Shead, Roy Lawrence, Jackie Lawrence (Norma) and Stanley Lawrence (Joyce).

She was preceded in death by a son, Edward; and a sister, Josephine Shaw.
