Lester Femeal Jones

Lester Femeal Jones, 54, of Michigan City, died Nov. 17, 2019, at his home. He was a member of Everett's Chapel MB Church and a self-employed landscaper.

Visitation will be held on Nov. 22 from 2-6 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and Nov. 23 from 9:30-10:25 a.m. at Sims Chapel MB Church in Michigan City. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Kieron Morman will officiate. Burial will be in Webb Family Cemetery in Michigan City.

He leaves three children, Almetria Franklin of Memphis, Tenn., Tara Bell of Calif., Lester Courtney Hudson of Iowa; his father, Aaron Jones of Michigan City; five sisters, Phillis Everett and Patricia Pryor, both of Michigan City, Cheryl Peeler and Brenda Golden, both of Collierville, Tenn., Joyce Smith of LaGrange, Tenn.; seven brothers, Steven Ray Jones, Gerald Jones, Corey Jones, Aaron Jones Jr., all of Michigan City, James Hampton of Ashland, Michael Hampton of Memphis, Myron Payne of LaGrange; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Hampton Jones.
