Brankley Spight

Brankley Spight, 69, of Holly Springs, died July 29, 2019, at Baptist Reynolds Hospice in Collierville, Tenn. He was a member of Isom Chapel CME Church, a former Regional Lay Leader, District Lay Leader for the Holly Springs-Oxford District, on the Marshall County School Board, a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. He was a retired teacher for Rust College.

Services were held at 2:30 p.m. on August 3 at Isom Chapel CME Church. Rev. Jermaine Evans officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his mother, Annie Jones Spight of Holly Springs; two sisters, Delorise Jones of Memphis, Tenn., Sandra Overshown of Boston, Mass.; and a brother, Alex Spight Jr. of Lilburn, Ga.
