Carl Latron Robinson

Carl Latron Robinson, 43, of Lamar, died July 16, 2019, in Potts Camp. He was a U.S. Army veteran, owner of Commission on Aging, an adult daycare. He was a candidate for State Representative District 5, a graduate of Ripley High School, a graduate of Rust College, received his Master of Arts from the University of Phoenix, and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on July 24 at St. James COGIC in Ripley. Elder Rayfield Cameron officiated. Burial was in St. Luke COGIC Cemetery in Ashland. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves two sons, Tyler Robinson of Wesson, Carl Robinson Jr. of Lamar; four daughters, Beneshia Robinson of Oxford, Chryslin Robinson of Georgia, Ajah Robinson of Philadelphia, Pa., Chloe Robinson of Memphis, Tenn.; his parents, Mack C. Robinson and Angela M. Bills Robinson of Lamar; four sisters, Pattie Beard and Shirley Boyd of Ashland, Collen Robinson of Irving, Texas, Kimberly Robinson of Lamar; and one brother, Cornelius Robinson of Lamar.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Lewis Williams and Johnny Williams; and one sister, Denise Robinson.
