Holly Springs and Marshall Academy recently tuned up for the football season ahead with some seven-on-seven competition. MA kicks off practice next Monday, July 29, while Holly High starts the following Monday, Aug. 5. The Patriots will play in a jamboree on Friday, Aug. 16, at Lee Academy (Clarksdale). They face Indianola Academy at 4 p.m. and Lee at 5:20. The Hawks will play in the Oxford High School Jamboree Saturday, Aug. 17. They will go against North Pontotoc at 1 p.m. The season begins for both teams August 23. For more photos, see page 6.
