Gloria Jean McNeil

Gloria Jean McNeil, 63, of Holly Springs, formerly of Aurora, Ill., died July 13, 2019, at Baptist Hospital in Oxford. She was a member of Mt. Teamer CME Church and a healthcare assistant.

Visitation will be held on July 19 from 1-7 p.m. and with family from 6-7 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home, and on July 20 from 9:30-10:25 a.m. at Mt. Teamer CME Church. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Linda Cooperwood will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves two children, Joronda Culpepper of Baldwyn and Tamekia Jeffries of Waterford; her mother, Marble Pegues McNeil of Holly Springs; five sisters, Ruthie Shepard and Loretta Dawkins, both of Aurora, Juanita Lumpkin, Clara Williams and Pearline Taylor, all of Holly Springs; three brothers, James McNeil of Walls, Willie Earl McNeil and Ivan McNeil, both of Holly Springs; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Martin McNeil Jr.
