Wanda Louise Taylor Lucas

Wanda Louise Taylor Lucas, 91, of Holly Springs, died March 28, 2019, at Alliance HealthCare System. The widow of Eddie Lucas Sr., she was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Holly Springs, and a retired nurse's aide after over 25 years at the Marshall County Hospital.

Visitation will be held April 5, from 2-7 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; with the family from 6-7 p.m., and April 6, from 2-2:55 p.m. at Doxey Auditorium at Rust College. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden.

She leaves a son, Eddie Lucas Jr. of Holly Springs; four daughters, Barbara Thomas, Elena Ann Lyons, Sharon Lucas Burns, all of Holly Springs, Debra Lucas Elliott of Olive Branch; a brother, Huey Taylor of Detriot, Mich.; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Dorothy Lucas King, Eddie Mae Lucas; three brothers, Earl Taylor, Creed Taylor, Willie Taylor; five sisters, Earline Taylor Jones, Catherine Taylor Dandridge, Susie Taylor Pegues, Pauline Taylor Dandridge, and Annie Jeanette Johnson.
