Lee Andrew Jeffries

Lee Andrew Jeffries, 93, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 6, 2018, at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven. The widower of Willie Mard Marion Jeffries, he was a member of Wilkins Chapel CME Church, Waterford, which he helped construct. He served on the steward board, trustee board, and served as Sunday School superintendent. He was a farmer and a member of Masonic Lodge.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum Funeral Home Dec. 14, from 2-6 p.m., with family from 5-6 p.m.; and at Wilkins Chapel CME Church on Dec. 15, 9:30-10:25 a.m. with services at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Lexine Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves two children, Roy Lee Jeffries of Holly Springs and Ruby Wilson of South Bend, Ind.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five siblings, King Jeffries, Rone Jeffries, Roy Jeffries, Fred Jeffries, and Daisy Pegues.
