Suspects sought in car jacking

Two suspects, a male and female, are being sought in a September 20 carjacking at Moore’s Grocery on Highway 72, according to Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson.

He said a couple went inside Moore’s Grocery, then went back out to their vehicle. They got out of the vehicle to search for a missing cell phone. At that time a silver or grey Infinity with Tennessee tags pulled up beside them. One individual jumped out of the Infinity and brandished some type of assault rifle.

Dickerson said both vehicles were driven toward Tennessee.
