Six turnovers saddle Indians with loss

Byhalia turned the ball over six times in a 35-24 loss Friday night at Independence.

“You can’t beat anybody doing that,” coach John Danley said. “That was the game.”

The Indians fell to 2-2 on the season while the Wildcats improved to 2-2.

Byhalia struck first less than two minutes into the game on Charles Powell’s 1-yard plunge into the end zone. The two-point conversion failed, as did all four tries on the night.
