Sawyer reports to board

Sarah Sawyer, executive director of the Byhalia Area Chamber Main Street, visited the board of supervisors recently to thank them for their support of the mission of the organization.

“Our mission is to grow, improve and sustain Marshall County,” she said.

The Chamber has about 300 members and is growing.

The Chamber celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

Byhalia has a population of about 1,500, she said, but within a 20-mile radius, the population is at 40,000.
