Hawks win big on road

The game did not start well for Holly Springs Friday night but that was only a brief snag.

The Hawks bounced back from an early turnover to score eight unanswered touchdowns in a 58-12 rout of Mantachie.

Head coach Donald Deans said after the Mustangs went up 6-0 via the interception for a score, his Hawks woke up.

“It was a long road trip (71 miles) and after coming out slow at first, we really seemed focused and we played well,” he said.
