Golf tourney Sept. 20

It’s time again for the 22nd Annual White Oak Classic Golf Tournament. It will be held on Thursday, Sept. 20, at Kirkwood National in Holly Springs.
The event is sponsored by the Byhalia Area Chamber Main Street. Registration opens at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Gift bags are given at registration. The four-man scramble is a “par is your friend” tournament.
The awards dinner with presentations are made at 5:30 p.m. Prizes are given for the first and second flights, putting contest, longest drive and closest to the pin. Tent sponsors are on the course with giveaways, beverages and snacks. To play is $100 per player with a $25 mulligan value pack available.
