Potts Camp fell behind early Friday night in Marianna, Ark., and just couldn’t make up the difference.
The Cardinals dropped game one of the season, 21-6, to Lee Academy.
“I felt like we left it all on the field,” said Darrow Anderson, in his first game as head coach at Potts Camp. “We just didn’t execute at times, but it was not for lack of effort.”
The Cougars scored the first two times they had the ball to go up 13-0 and that tally stood until halftime.
