Longtime pharmacist ‘caring and kind’

The Holly Springs community celebrated the Homecoming of one of its most endearing characters with the death of Ben Williamson Seale Sr., 75, last week.

A pharmacist by trade, Seale was honored for his dedication and 50 years of service to the Holly Springs community.

Service to his church was lifelong. He was an acolyte at a tender age.

In his homily August 7, The Very Reverend Bruce McMillan, rector at Christ Church, spoke lovingly of his friend and sprinkled some humor in as well.

He asked, “How are we going on and living in a world without him? Even Jesus wept at the death of his friend Lazarus.

“The pharmacist makes a compound. His works will never be finished.”
