The Marshall Academy soccer team played three games last week – tying Columbus Christian, 4-4, and losing to both Indianola Academy and Bayou Academy. Pictured competing versus Indianola are (top photo) Kelli Rhea, (middle) Lexi Williams, and (above) Kristy Wang. Versus Columbus Christian, Erin Burleson scored two goals and MichaelAnn Lemons and Rhea one each. Burleson scored the team’s only goal versus Indianola, and Bailey Garrison cashed in the Lady Patriots’ only goal at Bayou. MA hosted Kirk Academy on Monday of this week. They travel to St. Joe’s in Greenville on Saturday for a 2 p.m. game. Next Tuesday, Aug. 21, they will visit Columbus Christian.
