James Sanders Jr.

James Sanders Jr., 77, of Holly Springs, died Aug. 1, 2018, at his home. The widower of Helen Brown Sanders, he was a retired custodian at Morrison’s Cafeteria in Atlanta, Ga.

Visitation will be held Aug. 9 from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home, and at the church on Aug. 10 from 10-10:55 a.m.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Aug. 10 at Hopewell No. 2 MB Church in Hudsonville, where he was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pastor Jermarcus LeSure will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves a daughter, Chanique Sanders of Atlanta; five sisters, Minnie LeSure, Jeanette Nunnally, Mary Spight, all of Holly Springs, Callie Spight of Lake Center, Coretta Spight of Red Banks; a brother, Charles Edward Spight of Holly Springs; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
