Betty Nell Reaves

Betty Nell Reaves, 82, of Lamar, died June 16, 2018, at Ashland Health and Rehab. She was the widow of Jackie Reaves.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on June 20 at New Hope Baptist Church in Slayden, with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Greg Skelton officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves two daughters, Shirley Skelton (Terry) of Lamar, Heather Melton (Chris) of Memphis, Tenn.; two sons, Gene Reaves (Heather) of Byhalia, Dean Allen of Ashland; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Reaves, and a grandchild, Blake Reaves.
