Lauralee Elizabeth Fant and Steven Taylor Nowell

Lauralee Fant and Taylor Nowell to wed June 9 in Holly Springs

Mr. and Mrs. David Tucker Fant of Holly Springs announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauralee Elizabeth Fant of Holly Springs, to Steven Taylor Nowell of Pearl.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Lola Teel Dickerson and the late Alton Gwen Dickerson, both of Holly Springs. Her paternal grandparents are Martha Fant and the late William Robert Fant Jr., and the late Sylvia Tucker Fant of Holly Springs.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Nowell of Pearl. He is the maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Steve Vernamonti of Pearl, and his paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Don Duke of Pearl.

Lauralee is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in human sciences. She is an alumnus of Phi Mu Fraternity, Kappa Alpha chapter. She also attended Mississippi University for Women and received her Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology. She is employed as a speech-language pathologist with Venture Rehab Group of Greenville, N.C.

Taylor is also a graduate of Mississippi State University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance. He is an alumnus of Kappa Sigma Fraternity, Delta Chi chapter. He is employed as a financial advisor with Captrust Financial Advisors of Raleigh, N.C.  

They will marry on June 9, 2018, at 6 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Holly Springs, with the reception to follow at Montrose Antebellum Home and Arboretum.
