‘Hometown celebrity’ speaks to club
MSNBC news analyst Elise Jordan spoke before the Thursday Club on a recent visit with her family in Holly Springs. She was dubbed “our hometown celebrity” by emcee Karen Schneller.
Schneller said she knew Jordan was in for greatness when she asked for a raise when she babysat. The Schnellers doubled her salary of $1 an hour.
Jordan also broke an arm on a skiing trip out West but didn’t let that deter her from her cheerleading.
She is the daughter of Susan and the late Kelly Jordan and a 2000 graduate of Marshall Academy.
