Lady Cardinals come up short versus Biggersville

Potts Camp’s quest for a trip to Jackson came up just a few points short.

The Lady Cardinals lost a hard-fought contest, 50-44, to Biggersville Friday night in round two of the Class 1A state playoffs. They ended the season with a 15-15 record.

“I am so proud of this team,” coach Brad Wren said. “They have come so far in two years. We fell a little short Friday night but to go this far and be so close to ‘The Big House’ is nothing to be ashamed of.
