City joins livable community network

Ivory Craig, associate director for community outreach with AARP Mis­sis­sippi, invited the City of Holly Springs to sign on to the network at no charge.

Hernando and Southaven have already joined the livable community network, she said.

AARP is seeking to attract more cities in Mississippi this year to join the network. Craig said she expects maybe five more will join this year.

After the city approves an application and files it with AARP Mississippi, the city automatically is enrolled. There is no cost.
