Willis “Uncle Bill” Taylor

Willis “Uncle Bill” Taylor, 96, of Holly Springs, died Feb. 8, 2018, at Holly Springs Health and Rehab. A member of Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks, he was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Visitation will be  at the Multi-Purpose Building from 11-11:55 a.m. on Feb. 15.

Services will be held at 12 noon on Feb. 15 at the Eddie L. Smith Multi-Purpose Building with burial in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Evangelist Mary Pegues-Faulkner will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves three daughters, Judy Kay Pegues, Evangelist Mary Pegues-Faulkner, both of Holly Springs, Barbara Jean Pool of Killeen, Texas; two sons, James Pegues of Killeen, Robert Lee Walls of Sikeston, Mo.; 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
