Josephine Shaw, 78, of Chicago, Ill., formerly of Holly Springs, died Jan. 18, 2018. The widow of Joseph Shaw, she was a nutritionist at Mt. Sinai Hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of Lawndale Church of Christ.
Services were held at Sheldon Heights Church of Christ in Chicago at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 27. Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Hillside, Ill. Bennie Braswell Jr., pastor of Hernando Road Church of Christ in Holly Springs, officiated.
She leaves a son, Al Lawrence (Dawn); two sisters, Betty Brown of Holly Springs, Ann Shead of Chicago; four brothers, Grover Lawrence Jr. of Shreveport, La., Roy Lawrence of Chicago, Jackie Lawrence of Dover, Del., Stanley Lawrence of Chicago; and two grandchildren.
