The Byhalia Indians, with the regular season winding down, picked up a couple of big Region 1-4A wins last week.
Coach James Sales’ squad knocked off Senatobia and New Albany to improve their district mark to 6-2. The Indians are 11-7 overall.
The Lady Indians lost to the same two teams. Their in-district mark went to 6-2 and the overall record to 16-3. They’re without the services of senior Dandy Dozen player Shay Johnson the rest of the season due to an ACL injury.
