Levance Duncan

Levance Duncan, 67, of Mt. Pleasant, died Jan. 18, 2018, at North Delta Hospice in Southaven. He was a member of Pleasant Hill CME Church in Mt. Pleasant and a former member of Concord MB Church in Slayden. He was a member of Stinson Chapel Masonic Lodge #191. He was a self-employed construction worker.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Jan. 26, 2-7:30 p.m. and with family from 6:30-73- p.m., and at the gym on Jan. 27 from 10-10:55 a.m.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Jan. 27 at H.W. Byers High School gym in Mt. Pleasant with burial in Pleasant Hill CME Church Cemetery. Rev. Willie Mays will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Earnestine Duncan; five daughters, DeSharon Plummer (Terrence) of Memphis, Tenn., Latoria Hampton (Shone) of Lamar, Ronesha Harris (Chaiam) of Byhalia, Kimberly Duncan, Miracle Duncan, both of Mt. Pleasant; a son, Levan Duncan Jr. of Oxford; three sisters, Delorise Anderson (Velma) of Memphis,, Genlorse Martin, Geraldine Duncan, both of Mt. Pleasant; a brother, Robert Duncan Jr. of Memphis; and 12 grandchildren.
