Charles Sheridan Corey

Charles Sheridan Corey, 69, of Diamondhead, formerly of Holly Springs, died Dec. 31, 2017. He served as a missionary for eight years in Central America. On his return to the United States, he served as director of the Center for International Seamen and Truckers, an outreach ministry by the Gulf Coast association of churches. He also served as interim pastor for several Gulf Coast churches. He was the son of the late Bud and Dorothy Corey.
Graveside services will be held on Jan. 13 at 12 noon at Hill Crest Cemetery. All are invited to attend. Flowers may be sent to Holly Springs Funeral Home, 1160 Hwy. 311, Holly Springs.
He leaves four children, Stephanie Verkouille, Sheridan Corey, Scott Corey, Stacia Dials and nine grandchildren.
