Andrew Lee “Wookie” Glover

Andrew Lee “Wookie” Glover, 79, of Holly Springs, died Dec. 27, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oxford. He was a member of Hopewell No. 2 MB Church where he served as a deacon and sang in the male chorus. He was a retired factory worker at Sunbeam and did lawn service for over 36 years.

Visitation will be held 2-6 p.m. on Jan. 5 at Brittenum and Son Funeral Home, and Jan. 6, from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m., at Hopewell No. 2 MB Church in Hudsonville. Rev. Deldrick Leasure will officiate. Burial will be in Cottrell Memorial Garden. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Annette Boga Glover of Holly Springs; four daughters, Janet Thomas, Linda Glover, Lisa Hoyle, all of Holly Springs, and April Glover of New Albany; one son, Marcus “Tony” Glover of Olive Branch; two sisters, Pauline Luellen of Memphis, Tenn., and Bobby Snow of Holly Springs; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Glover.
