To know Dorothy Warren was to absolutely love her

Caitlyn Brooks and Trace Bray of Cleveland were the Christmas guests of Kay and Laura Wheeler.

Hank Wheeler of Newnan, Ga., spent the holiday with his daughter, Mary Clay Brooks, and family.

Hamilton and Jim Moriarty of Bentonville, Ark., came in after Christmas to spend time with her parents, Robin and Ben Seale.

Holly Springs lost one of our best citizens Monday, Hot Dot (Dorothy) Warren. If you ever had dealings at First State Bank, you are bound to have seen her on many occasions. She was always there with a smile on her face and ready to help with any issues a customer may have had. Many of us were fortunate enough to have known her, also, on a personal level. In either capacity, to know her was to absolutely love her. She was a bright and cheery soul who always told it like it was regardless. She will be sorely missed, one of the last of her generation. Please keep her beautiful daughter, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in your prayers.
