Hawks fall to Amanda Elzy

The Holly Springs Hawks gave a “lackluster effort” in a 52-42 loss to Amanda Elzy Saturday, head coach Sylvester Kilgore said.
The game was part of the Domino’s Pizza Challenge at South Panola.
“Credit an Amanda Elzy team that was up to the task,” he said. “A slow start, aided by our turnovers and poor field-goal percentage, put us in a hole (14-6 after one quarter).”
